Worst quest/quest line?

Most annoying quest line in their respective order.

Thieves guild (The most retarded quest line in Skyrim's history)
Blackreach - The crimson root collection quest line (I generally cheat by using the console command)
The Companions
Civil war (Too short)
The college of Winterhold quest line (Lack of learning and study of magic, and too easy to join without going through proper protocols. Tired of having to be the enchanter, the librarian and the Senile master wizard's errand boy.)
Dawnguard (While I do side with the vampires the side quests are fluffing dumb and stupid. I generally force complete the quests that requires me to kill a noble of of a hold)

hahaha

Pretty much dead on balls accurate.

Although some of these I really liked. Namely, Thieves Guild, College and Dawnguard.

The Way of the Voice all the way to Diplomatic Immunity.

My brain melts everytime I get through that part.

I hate to necromance a long-dead thread, but I am playing through one of these frustratingly longwinded and seemingly pointless quests right now.

Kyne's Sacred Trials. What a pointless, longwinded quest, with such an utterly useless reward.

I also find the majority of the Daedric Quests to be longwinded, and I don't use half of the artifacts at all.

Any quest that involves working with that c#nt Serana.

But since I uninstalled Dawnguard, I don't need to worry about that any more. :p

And the Companions because of how fast you rise through the ranks. I would quite happily remain as a regular member doing random quests alongside shield brothers and sisters without entering their inner circle and becoming harbinger, but no, you have to get raped into being a werewolf and avenging the death of a character who glitches back to life and carries on being a dick to you. o_O

Hey sticky!

Adding in Amorous Adventures makes Dawnguard's main quest a *lot* more interesting. (PC, of course)

But yeah, I don't even do the Companions quest line any more. I either stealth kill them all or just ignore them.

I joined the stormcloaks, and so I had to do their quest line. However, when it came to the battle for Whiterun, I hated having to make Jarl Balgruuf surrender. Vignar Gray Maine is not fit for being a Jarl.

I do like the characters in the Companions, it's just that the quest line is so horribly designed. You can't take your time working your way up through the ranks, and on top of that you get forced into being a werewolf. With a lot of characters I've started, when I get nagged at by Aela about the giant and joining the companions, I just say "sounds like a waste of time" and move on.

Worst individual quest: getting a bottle of mead for Siddgeir in Falkreath.
Worst quest line: Bard's College. Utterly boring and with no reward.

Thieve's Guild questline - boring and tedious af.
Blades questline - I started off really liking them, finally a questline that might give me a leverage to effectively fight against the Thalmor - was wrong, they just want to fight dragons, including the good and civil ones. Nope'd the hell outta there. Screw you, Delphine!
Civil War - Just plain boring. Go to Fort X, massacre Imperials/Stormcloaks, yadda yadda.

I think the worst quest ever is when you have to collect all the stones of barenziah (or something like that)

It's waaaaay too hard and time consuming

I also think that the thieves guild isn't very fun, I was expecting more breaking into Jarls houses and stealing something like 100,000 septims whilst having all of the guards chase you kind of thing going on but.. it was a huge dissapointment.

I think that the BEST questline is the Dragonborn DLC.. so much to do.. you even get an EXTRA ISLAND TO EXPLORE and you also get a hilarious flying wizard easter egg with it.

I tend to dislike most faction quest lines, even though you become the "leader" of most of them you're still doing the jobs a new guy would. Better in Morrowind where you started off at those fetch jobs and higher up it was more political/serious.

Thieves Guild was a missed opportunity on restoring a criminal empire.

Blades, Blades, Blades, bunch of douchebags. Never done their quest to kill Paar, NEVER. And I wont. EVER NEVER EVER. Im dragonborn, and they order me as they are in charge, also claiming that "I am the leader of the Blades. An ultimate dragon slayer. The dragonborn".
WHERES THE fukin logic? WHERE? it must be John Cena, CUZ I CANT FUKIN SEE IT!! I should be ordering them around instead.

And yes, thats realy one of best things skyrim is lacking. Ordering. Real ordering, mission giving not taking. That thing with follower is just usless.

To be fair on the Blades they don't actually swear to serve you as so many assume. Delphine herself makes it clear she's acting Grandmaster and they will aid you on your path, but ultimately they've gone back to being Dragonguard and seek to slay all dragons. The Blades only ever served the Dragonborn Emperors a long time ago and not once do they ever say they're at your command.
