Would love to see more races like dwarves,gnomes,and or trolls and ogres and meaning real trolls and not trolls that look like swamp beasts and that are playable and maybe halflings or half orcs!How about give a player or npc the ability to kick or bash maybe as well!

First of all,I get that Skyrim is your first contact with the Elder Scroll Series!
Nothing wrong on that,just pointing it out!

Anyway to answer you,I say that you WILL get what you ask BUT not from BETHESDA!
The Elder Scroll Series is not just a game but a whole world called Tamriel and more!

What I want to say with that is that every race has its own history in this fictional world,has its own homeland,culture and everything!This races have been the same since the first Elder Scroll game out many years ago!I believe I wasnt even born back then and now I'm 20!

So It is not possible for bethesda to add a new playable race without seriously messing up with the universe of Elder Scrolls!

But modders can! In fact Oblivion had so many race mods that you could play as a mermaid or even an Avatar God of The Divines which I remember because I had that mod was literally 10 feet tall!

Well that's only for pc though,If you play on console you must stick on vanilla because no mods for consoles exist!
