kill a bunch of deer, wolves, sabre cats, and bears and just make leather bracers. you have to tan the hide to make leather and leather strips but i had full dragonscale legendary around lvl 20 or so. but beware you cant go around the tree. so if your gonna invest perks in it decide if youd rather have light or heavy and do that cause i went light thinking i could just pick deadric after i got dragon but it didnt work that way. not on xbox anyway.
Thanks. That's actually what I'm doing but the problem isn't the leather it's mining and buying enough iron. I get tired of running from shop to shop buying ingots to make daggers. Especially since with every level up it takes seemingly twice as many daggers made to produce another level up. I am forever out of iron ore and ingots.
I started out with the heavy armor tree, but it was all butt ugly and when I saw the Nightingale stuff that was it. It took forever to get to Arcane Smither or whatever where I can improve magical items too, so since I got that armor I haven't improved it at all. Can't find the salts used to do it. And I can't put any of my weapons past "ehh not bad". Even the Orcish crap I've been able to create since weeks ago. I got it one step above "Fine" and I "don't have the skill" to improve it farther. What does it take? My Smithing is at 72 now and I can't improve Orcish gear more than one level past Fine?
