Your customized weapons & gears... with names!

kill a bunch of deer, wolves, sabre cats, and bears and just make leather bracers. you have to tan the hide to make leather and leather strips but i had full dragonscale legendary around lvl 20 or so. but beware you cant go around the tree. so if your gonna invest perks in it decide if youd rather have light or heavy and do that cause i went light thinking i could just pick deadric after i got dragon but it didnt work that way. not on xbox anyway.

Thanks. That's actually what I'm doing but the problem isn't the leather it's mining and buying enough iron. I get tired of running from shop to shop buying ingots to make daggers. Especially since with every level up it takes seemingly twice as many daggers made to produce another level up. I am forever out of iron ore and ingots.

I started out with the heavy armor tree, but it was all butt ugly and when I saw the Nightingale stuff that was it. It took forever to get to Arcane Smither or whatever where I can improve magical items too, so since I got that armor I haven't improved it at all. Can't find the salts used to do it. And I can't put any of my weapons past "ehh not bad". Even the Orcish crap I've been able to create since weeks ago. I got it one step above "Fine" and I "don't have the skill" to improve it farther. What does it take? My Smithing is at 72 now and I can't improve Orcish gear more than one level past Fine?

So far I've named all of my shieldmaiden Nord's enchanted weapons after Norse mythology related things (Fenris, Loki, Hrunting, Tyrfing, Hrotti, Dainsleif- to name a few). Quite boring, I know :P

I have a daedric sword that has 199 damage with a frost and flame enchatment

I named it ... The Elder Sword... because I thought that sounded awesome

Why didn't you name it, Alcsmithchantxploit?

Has a nice ring to it.

disclaimer: This is a joke.

My weapons and items are.....

Chain of War Magic (27% cost red dest, and 62 fort magic.)
Ring of War Magic (same as above)
Draak's Bracers (Ulfric's bracers with fortify alchemy 25, and forify magic 62)
Boots of Bounding (Forifty stamina...alot. and something else. Can't remember.)

Fire Gleam (Glass war axe absorb health 20 fire damage 37)
Banisher (Ebony bow, soul trap 1 sec)

And a bunch other's I don't feel like naming.

my smithing is at 100 and the lower level armor isnt able to be improved past flawless. i can make legendary ebony now but even with the arcane armorer perk i cant get the nightengale past flawless. im gonna put my next level up into deadric to see if that will allow me to atleast get it to epic. and you need void salts. most alchemist sells the stuff. and i was able to find a few around the houses and forts with arch mages in them.

I dont just name my own gear I like to personalize my followers' gear based on their traits and style. For example, Uthgerd the Unbroken, made her the 'Unbroken Ringlet' and 'Bladed Bracers' both raising one-handed. And now with my bride-to-be Borgakh the Steel Heart, I paid special attention to give her the weapons Belladrum and the Barbed Bow. Her armor is the Blackhart Cuirass ( hp+ and hp regen). Gauntlets are called the Brigadine Armlets (blocking + heavy armor), her boots the Featherfall Assaulters (muffle + one handed), and her shield was the unique shield Targe of the Blooded which I did not name ( wish I could disenchant so bad)... but yeah cant wait to name her jewelery!

I had an Ebony War Axe enchanted with Silent Moons called "Dianna" that I used as my horse riding weapon. I like Silent Moons Enchant. I like how pretty it looks when it effects people :)

Well, my current character is still level 1, partying it up at Windhelm, so he's basicly got nothing but a steel greatsword (which he likes)

My old character, Leksandr, had -

Telmyrul - Frost and Fire enchanted one handed Anduril. (Isilmeriel's LOTR weapons mod)
The Targe of the Blooded - Ingame unique shield of kick butt.
Warden's Farbow - Frost and Fiery Soul Trap enchanted Enhanced Crossbow.

The name Telmyrul means "Storm Taker" in the Old Tongue. (my made up language)

And for armor, he had -

Dawn's Vanguard Platemail - Heavy Armor/One Handed enchanted Heavy Dawnguard armor.
Dawn's Vanguard Leggings - Frost Resist/Fire Resist enchanted Heavy Dawnguard boots.
Dawn's Vanguard Gloves - One Handed/Heavy Armor enchanted Heavy Dawnguard boots
The Warden's Hood - Archery/Poison Resist enchanted Black Mage cloth hood. (Black Mage Robes mod)

My Nord 2h warrior has an Ebony Warhammer with the paralize enchantment. It's simply called "The Paddle".

So whenever I beat enemies, I'm like:

I am unimaginative when it comes to naming enchanted items. Mostly I just name it something like "Vampiric" this or "Selise's" that. (Selise is my character's name.) Mostly I'm trying to group items in a set in the menu, not trying to be fancy. I do that when enchanting followers' gear too.

Just made a bow with 479 base damage (with enchants helping, normal base damage is 212) legit, no potion loops. Also absorbs 20 point of health and burns 25 points, could make that higher but i like having a long charge. It is named "Fin Dinok" which translates to "The Death" (dragon to English) so far my favourite weapon I have ever made.

I had a sword I called BloedSauger. Which, please correct me if I'm wrong, means blood sucker, it absorbs 10 points of health, it's not that great, but I thought it was cool. :D I also enchanted a dwarven sword with shock damage, I named it Lightning Bolt, and my newest, a superior Ebony Bow (still need to level up smithing a little bit) with 10 points of Frost damage, I named it Frosty. :D

I've developed a habit of naming nearly every weapon I create these days.

Nendir has an enchanted Glass Bow (Fine) with a 2-second paralysis perk. He refers to it as Mephala's Tooth. In addition, he has a Glass Dagger (Fine) with an absorb health perk, named Vigor's Bane.

Freyja, when she isn't swinging Wuuthrad around, has a Skyforge Steel Greatsword (Exquisite) with a Soul Trap perk, Drengrsála.

I haven't enchanted anything for Shaadi yet.

I've made 2 ebony swords with both fire enchantments, named them both Afterburner, and a Stahlrim bow with frost enchantment, I named the bow: Fridge.

Thread necromancy! It's valid, though. :p

I think the only interesting piece I've enchanted that had a cool/funny name was a Daedric sword that I enchanted with a Black Soul Gem so I called it "John".

I also had a pair of boots that had the increase carry weight enchant called, "Boots Sworn to Carry my Burdens".
