Your favorite Daedric Artifact in battle and why

Yukari Yakumo

The Countless Violet Clouds
like it says.
Remember, battle only, so no Azura's/Black Star or picking Wabbajack just to level up followers.

So far, like Meredia's Dawnbreaker most.
Would like Mace of Molage Bal more, but maces feel too slow for me.

Would be the ebony blade IF IT WORKED.
Probably the skull of corruption or Volendrung. Spellbreaker is awesome too, but i'm just not a sheild type of guy.

Dawnbreaker, hands down. If only it benefited from Blacksmithing perks.

I got the most mileage out of Spellbreaker, though. It's an excellent shield for anyone interested in leveling the block skill and its ward effect don't just block damage, but also tha'ums of all kinds. Including the annoying Unrelenting Force shouts from higher level Drogar and the new Drain Vitality shouts the Dawnguard dragon models all use. It was nice to still have a ward effect available to me while leveling up block.

Additionally, it looks better with the Ancient Falmer Armor set than the supposedly matching shield does.

Spellbreaker doesn't level block, it levels heavy armour. Similar to ebony blade using one handed skill and perks while being two handed.

When I still had it, Molag Bal's mace did it for me. Loved its soul trap enchantment. Once I could smith and enchant my own weapons, I sold it.

theoperation, your avatar? Dude, that would look so awesome on the back of a motorcycle jacket. :) Um, okay, keeping it in Skyrim, huh? How about etching it on the back of steel armor, or the armor of your choice? Better yet, what if it could be etched, painted, carved, etc. as the design on a shield? Of course, would only be a matter of time until your crew had to rumble with The Performers, Bard College chapter. ;) :D

dunklunk, I wish I could take credit for it but I just found it by google search. I also thought it would look really cool on a bikers jacket, like if the companions were around in modern times they'd probably be a not evil biker gang that protected whiterun's people from outside threats, for a fee of course. Kind of like the sons of anarchy

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Ebony Mail. Your character looks totally badass in it, it's a good piece of armor, it makes you almost invisible to enemies, and it does extra poison damage to the baddies as well!

Mehrune's Razor lets me kill dragons in one hit on Master :D. Besides that, not entirely sure. I have leveled 3 assassin characters to like 30, 40, and 60, but no other types. All I've ever used was the Black Star and Mehrune's Razor. I haven't even bothered with the Ebony Mail, as I heard it greatly hinders your sight when zoomed in on a bow, and my previous two characters had a lot of bow usage, as well as other stuff. My new guy is mainly daggers and thief skills, so perhaps I will try it out.

On a side note: Not to change topics, but what Daedric Artifacts should a Heavy Armor warrior go for? Whether I decide to go 1h, 2h, or shield and 1h, what do you all suggest? Thank you very much :)

I don't find the ebony mail that bad when using the bow, you can always unequip it it it bothers you. If you're going warrior: ebony mail, mace of balrog mal, and the spell breaker shield would be good to use.

Exactly! Similar, but not quite like the Sons of Anarchy. Don't think the Companions would be involved in the drug trade of any kind. Come to think of it, they would probably have to take out the Sons and their mischevious ways. :) Being werewolves though, I wonder if they'd even have need of motorcycles. ;)

Ebony Mail, I don't use it but my follower Derkeethus does. Derkeethus looks awesome sneaking in it and it's poison cloak effect is really helpful. Such an awesome artifact for such a lame Daedric Prince...
