I completely agree with AS88 on the Argonians. Except for what he said about the tail.

It just frustrates me. If it was handled better when wearing armour, and didn't clip so horrifically, and moved more naturally, I'd be all for it.

But, because of ^ still being issues, I'd find it easier to just say it's hidden behind the cloak.

Why did Bethesda feel the need to give mammaries to a reptilian/amphibian race? It makes no sense, and looks ridiculous and ugly and everything in between.
Interesting question but it's likely little more that just an object reliance on either a generic male or generic female basic mesh at least for the torsos.

Either that or the designers just decided that people like boobies so they gave everyone some.

I have to say that whenever I'm going for a serious game, I tend to favor the Dark elves over everyone.

Bretons

They are human.
They can absorb dragon breath.
They aren't inherently involved with all the politics of skyrim.

Bosmer. They seem to be the perfect balance of earthiness and serenity, without the Altmer's haughtiness or the Dunmer's darkness. I would feel right at home living the simple life of a pacifistic Bosmer in the forests of Valenwood.

Nords would be my second choice. I don't necessarily relate to the barbarism of the Nords, but I have greatly enjoyed playing them in Skyrim, and their lore is fascinating.

Breton, got to love having a 25% magic resistance and Dragonskin, the ability to absorb hostile magic without alteration or a stone, right at the beginning.

My favorite race is "Imperial", simply because I can relate to that the most. I like their diplomatic and political skills and am also a history nerd who has a thing for the Romans.

My second favorite race would be the Snow Elves. Sadly they are not an option in the character creation. Hence why I create very pale Bosmers and hope that will do too. >_>

My main character is an imperial, and I went that route because I wanted to get as wealthy as possible quickly. Once I reached one million gold, I was satisfied. :)

Ironically, I followed the Stormcloak line...

Don't have one to be honest, is that allowed? :p

My character is a Khajit married to an Altmer. Neither were planned, it "just happened"

Breton for me. Used to be the Nords, but I don't know, I started using Bretons a while ago and now I can't switch. :P Nice change of pace though, that's for sure. :D

--edit--

Argonian or Khajit, , its the bloody tail swaying, drives me absolutely insane, side to side to side, , aarrrggggg, how on earth do they put that Daedric armor on with the special ''Apendage hole'' for them, , :D
My Daedric Armor also has an appendage hole too, but it's not in the back if you catch my drift... wink wink... nudge nudge

It's self explanatory. (And it's one of the few races where most of my armor combinations become somehow badass.)

Argonian because they look awesome in skyrim and you can make some real badass looking ones if you spend time with the character creation screen. I'm quite proud of one of the ones I made :)

True, they fell a little out of place in the province of Skyrim which is why I'm glad the devs didn't have too many of them in the game. However I just wanted to play as one as I felt they are the right race to be dragonborn. Their histskin and water breathing ability is useful in some situations and they are a good all round choice.

I found RP'ing them isn't too difficult either. I don't use mods to hide the tail as that would be pointless however I wonder how they manage to put on that armour..
