Started up ME2 last night... took a little work to get my character from ME1 into it. I so don't like that Bioware changed the controls so much from 1 to 2... going to have to change the keybindings to something more useful maybe.
Don't like how they do the squad control screen either and no quick keys for weapon changes. I'll prevail though... at least I'm not randomly throwing gernades this time because the holster weapon is different ... so used to the "r" key in skyrim that I was throwing gernades a lot in ME1 LOL
In the RP side of things... looks like MrSD is MIA again

I do have to say I like the new look of the Normandy in 2 as well as the some of the graphics. I only played for a little bit last night so haven't gotten to far.
I don't know yet... have to see if he shows, what the rest of the gang is going to do, wants to do.

Almost done with ME3... ahhh it's so amazing, but I looked up full/more detailed spoilers about the ending and it's bad, guys. 
Ugh. Maybe I'll just never finish the last mission and keep playing forever
On an RP-related note, my bro still hasn't heard back from Rolasa about the idea of the three of us meeting... so I'm still undecided whether to go straight to the inn or not. Only thing is, since all of you guys are sleeping, that's the perfect time for Ember to show up without causing a big scene... and I know if I don't post soon, everyone will fast-forward to the next morning and wake up...
So I'm torn about what to do. (Also, my bro is working today, so I can't ask him what to do ) What do you guys think? Should we just hold off on meeting w/ my brother's character until after we leave the inn? Or should I just throw caution to the wind and have Ember run into him?

Okay, here's my thoughts for Emberlynn...
Since "you advance one stage for every 24 hours you go without feeding on a sleeping NPC," you essentially need to feed once a day to remain essentially undetectable as a vampire, otherwise, NPC's start to recognize you as not being well, and eventually become outright hostile. Then there's the effects to you, daylight drastically weakens you, but your resistances grow stronger, as well as your illusion spells and sneaking ability.
So, you probably should a) not go to the inn as you learn these effects and either become frightened by them or enthralled by them. b) go to the inn, but you'll have to wait until we leave, and since you haven't fed in the last 24 hours, you'll be shunned, but not attacked. The barkeep will have a note where to find us. c) lastly, make it to the inn, after feeling the effects both good and bad, most likely by encountering NPC's along the road during the day and having them shun you, then feeding on one of them while they sleep, and run across another traveler that doesn't realize you're a vampire, thus making you realize that feeding keeps most people unaware, but you also realize you can't travel during the day or you'll be very weak. Which starts your decision on whether you want to new found obviously evil powers that conflict with your nature and desire to be like your grandfather, or you decide you don't want them, discover from the barkeep that we had been discussing finding a cure for vampirism and (thankfully they don't realize it is you we were discussing) tells you that we were headed to Morthol at which point you get back on the road and try to catch up, only to realize you can't run as fast or long anymore and decide to steal a horse from a passing caravan at night. Feeding on one (with much consternation) and riding after us.
Also, showing up at the inn or being there when we wake will pobably make most of us suspicious and yet happy to see you (except for rale ) since we all know what has happened.
I think maybe you should hide out, come up with a decision on how you feel because we'll probably pester you about it and you'll need a good argument to convince us to leave you as a vampire

Good ideas, Gem (though Ember has fed a little bit on the Orc, so it would probably have to be the *next* day that Ember would start to notice these things.)
I'm thinking she'll hide out and go to the inn in the morning after you all leave. (She'll probably spy and wait til she sees you go).

- provide more background on your character in either a discussion with Alistar or just in thoughts
- decide that you want to turn over a new leaf, start anew, which you kind of seem to be doing with the carving or "regret" into your arm.
- start realizing you rally had feelings for Emberlynn and that's why you picked on her so much... classic school boy playground shenanigans when they didn't realize why they liked the person.
- change your appearance, buy/find and use new gear so you're not standing out like an assassin
Unfortunately, your character choice (in my opinion) makes it difficult to be scholarly and have a lot of wisdom.
So, I think the best thing would be to flesh out your background, and maybe your change of heart so that you're more helpful. Use your "experience" to suggest ways of infiltrating the dwemer ruins. Offer to scout ahead etc.

Oh that's right, forgot about that. So that'd put you back to stage one. You could make comment that you're noticing that you're weaker as the day progress' while hiding.
I recommend hiding on the far side of that small lake up the hill. You'd see us leave from there and could see which way we go.

Oh and Rale, you don't have to completely turn over a new leaf, you could remain the dark and brooding person you are, just start offering up suggestions based on your history and experience.

don't wait for Alistar, take him along for the ride since he's not been around. that way you can have him answer as you'd think/hope he'd answer... then have him leave for his own room.
I was thinking maybe, if, you turned over a new leaf completely you'd sell, send back, hide, the nightingale armor and get something less dark... It was just a random list of thoughts along that line.
As for being scholarly and wise, no need... but wise doesn't have to be "smart". Wise could be knowledgable in an area of expertise... trapping, or about a location, street smarts... scholarly, could be that you're well read and know about the history of a region, critter, race. A surprise to us... something you did while trying to avoid those kids throwing daggers at you...

Sorry for late reply, basically I understand there is some confusion with my dialogue. So from now on, white is speech for NPC's, Green for Alistar

It wasn't really the colors, well except for the black on dark grey background, but the transition from your characters comments to that of the falmer/snow elf... a simple paragraph splitter like
[elsewhere in skyrim]
would've made that post easier to follow.
Oh and you might want to edit the double posts to separate the two or just delete the second.

Alright, I will be posting tonight, I promise It probably will be a short one, but it's something I'm thinking I'll leave it open enough that my bro can jump in and run into us if he wants, or me and the bunny can just move on
Also, this RP has ruined me when it comes to writing XD I'm working on a fanfiction right now and it took until about halfway down the 2nd page before I realized I was writing the whole thing in present tense...
Also, forgive the lame new avatar XD But I had some extra Microsoft points, so I spent them on a ME alliance hoodie and a Skyrim helmet And then I realized no one would probably ever see it, so I put it on here and the other forum I post on hehehe
