Seriously though, this is ridiculous. PS3 players have been waiting, what, a month? And now they say it might never come. Cool, Todd. Cool.
 
Dude, that's not even what Bethesda said. This is just a third party trying to get people riled up... IGNORE IT. They are basing that whole article on this:

The PS3 is a powerful system, and we're working hard to deliver the content you guys want. Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated. This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.

We wish we had a more definitive answer right now. We understand the frustration when the same content is not available on all platforms. When we have an update, we will certainly let you know. This is outrageous. I understand that they're having problems, but it simply isn't fair to release the DLC for other platforms while PS3 gamers can't get it yet.
 
I have no clue where people get the idea that it isn't coming out at all. I've yet to see Bethesda actually say that. They're saying that there's some problems with it, not that it isn't coming out.

Largely inferior is an opinion, and I was not implying that you should you go out and buy a new system. Do you deny that XBox is getting the DLc's earlier?

They said they won't release it knowing people will have problems. They also said they're not certain they can even solve these problems. It's just a nice way of saying it's not coming to the PS3 without actually saying "it's not coming to the PS3". I think it will come to the PS3, but it will be a very, very long time.
 
I still don't get why people are blaming Bethesda for this. It's not like they don't want Dawnguard to come out for PS3. Dawnguard not coming to PS3 is money being flushed down the toilet. Bethesda isn't doing this for plopss and giggles you know, there actually trying to fix a problem that deals with the PS3's game engine and Dawnguard.

If I was a PS3 user, I wouldn't want to waste my twenty dollars for a dlc that has problems running and would ruin the gaming experience of Dawnguard. Once Bethesda discovers a solution, I'm sure they would want to release Dawnguard as soon as possible. If they don't, there only hurting themselves.
