How to remarry?

My friend just slaughtered his wife, not particually sure how but its definatly possible.

OT: I would suspect you go back to Riften and talk to the dude there to re-marry, divorce etc? Not too sure myself, but thats the first thing I'd do. And just a question, why even kill your wife/husband? They'll all serve the same purpose, unless you get off to pixelated characters ;)
 
Well, it all started in the Dwarven caves, she was being a pain the @$$ and she blocked my only way out of a Falmer tent. The rest is history.
 
Go tell the Jarl that she slipped on the wet stone floor or something. He is an understanding guy. Hey these things happen. It's your word against hers and guess what she won't be telling her side.

Nah nothing like that, he's just a bit too wimpy and he's doing my head in.
