Most annoying person in Whiterun

Heimskir is annoying, but somehow Nazeem is even more annoying. He will be such an enjoyable kill.

As annoying as he is, I kind of like Heimskr. If you've ever wandered through an area known for ranting lunatics (like San Francisco) you'll recognize that he's probably the most realistic of all the NPCs. Also the voice actor for that bit really just went for it, unlike the "clearly reading aloud from a sheet of paper" sense you get from many of the other dialogues.

Yes, indeed.

I love the part of the speech when he really gets going and gets to:

"... all of Skyrim. All of <beat> T-TAMRIEL!!!"

He has a very authentic ring of the fanatic in his voice. I still sometimes just sit down on the bench and listen to him for 20 or 30 seconds.

For me it would be Nazeem. His condescending tone in everything he says is not only humorless and annoying but insulting. He also has no quests which makes him of no value to me.

Humorless, annoying, of no value? Oh, contraire. I stand next to him just so I can hear his unintentionally witty remarks. I think he's funny. When he says nothing, it's disappointing.

I have not been to many towns yet, but the worst Whiterun NPC for dialog has got to be Farengar Secret-Fire. The actor literally stutters through some of his lines. I'm surprised Bethesda didn't ask for a re-take.

Nazeem is my first choice, with that town drunk in Whiterun being a close second. He always seems to be hanging outside my house.
And who the heck put Ysolda on this list??? She's not annoying she's hot with the way she walks and always saying it's a fine day with me around. She's got the hots for me, I tells ya!!!!

Why does everyone hate Belethor? I know he overprices things, but he's very nice to his customers. But, there is one thing he does lie about... he says "Everything's for sale", but I can't buy the guy who sweeps up the shop and makes my basket-head robbing so much harder.

You can't blame the character for that. He's just programmed that way.

Bethesda truly needs a way for NPCs to react more to significant events. Everybody should know about the status of the war, change in leadership of their hold, whether or not Alduin's dead. Most should know about significant appointments of prominent citizens, local politics, etc.

And they really, really need a way to force NPCs to put their money where their mouth is. Dissed by a guard? Challenge him to duel. I'll show you what happened to my sweetroll, buddy!

Why is there a poll even up? Everyone knows who the most annoying person in Whiterun and actually all of Skyrim is. Nazeem!

While Heimskr is annoying, at least he stands up to the Empire and preaches what he believes in.

Exactly what I was going to say. This poll is pointless; EVERYONE hates Nazeem.
But I wouldn't say he's the most annoying person in Skyrim. My vote would be Erikur on that one.

This list doesn't have Belethor. How does this list not have Belethor?

Am I the only one that likes Heimskr? He's one of my absolute favorites in the game. Sometimes I like to rave and rant along side him, I know most of his dialog from memory. I love that crazy little guy!

Of this somewhat incomplete list, I'd give the vote to Nazeem, though I'm positive he's already in the lead. Reading the names up there makes me wonder why Whiterun is home to most of the really annoying NPCs in the game. They should banish Gisli there, too. You might not know Gisli...I just calls her Erikur's Sister. EVERYONE ALWAYS DOES

I LOVE Heimskr. He is epic. Pretty brave to.
