what console commands would you use to kill off the guy? i hex edited myself a key but it didn't forward the quest

I have the same problem on my 360. I spent a lot of time just wandering around and stumbled across Mzulft. I wasn't even on the quest yet when I stumbled in the door, but don't recall if I interacted with the guy. Now that I'm on the quest, the guy sits on the floor NOT dying. Can't kill him, pick his pocket or do anything but jump up and down on his head. Hope they fix that patch soon.

Well, we've got a new patch coming out. I didn't see that this was specifically addressed, but I'd download it anyway when it's available on the consoles and see if it tweaks anything for you.

I heard there are some really bad glitches and bugs in some peoples games. Thankfully the only glitch I have in mine is the Breeze Home weapon racks wont work. I cant download my game to my console (360) because we have the 4GB one. I think we are getting more memory soon though. Ive heard both good and bad things about the new update such as the kill cam. I haven't been really been paying attention to it, but I think I should start.

ive found that installing the game makes it less glitchy but the real thing is that you need to finish each quest as you start it.

yeah that's what I found when I did the Mzulft quest with my new game. Some are okay to wait on but normally Ill do a quest right away anyway.

Well Its a bummer that you didn't have any earlier saves or this could have been redone pretty easy.

I try to wait a week or two before installing any patch just in case it's wacky. But for people currently stuck in game-breakers, they pretty much have noting to lose so I recommend they get the patch as soon as possible.

Yeah, I thought I had one, but my dad saved over it. I have to be careful because once he saved over one of my games, but thankfully it was only an autosave. It also doesn't help we are both Nords, and are about the same level
