Well I think my brother's character is original/unique :-/ but yeah, this sucks a lot.

He's coming to my house tonight so he and I will probably brainstorm. He had connections to the Dwemer/Falmer and everything. Ughhh back to the drawin board for him I guess
 
Actually, I would scan back at what's happened since your fight and write out what your characters thinking and doing and then post a long post about all that, or just say you just woke up when I kicked your foot and have your character get up, laugh at the puking argonian, gasp at Einarr's display of magic, feel inadequate, pet the bunny, pack th gear and wait outside :P
 
Well, whatever he does, I'm glad he chose to join us :D cant say the same for Rale tho xD

sorry, didn't mean to imply he wasn't original, just that I chose sword and board style character and not a mage... mages always have issues :p
 
Hey just saying its cool, He can do the tap into peoples mind thing. I'm just winging it and it sounds hes put in alot of work into his char so yeah he can do w.e its fine.
 
Don't be silly. You were with us first so you shouldn't be the one who has to change. :)

I'm sure he and I will come up with something :) And if we really get stuck and there's no other solution maybe he and I can start our own new RP so he can use his char :) (I would never abandon ROF though!)

I already have a few ideas floating around as a back up plan :)
 
Well, playing off your "conflicted self", since Einarr is young, he could be so un-used to the ability of magic that it both scares him and fascinates him because of the power (kind of already displayed that in recent post). You're only able to tap into the higher level spells because you don't know how to control the magic yet and subsequently you end up draining you magicka and stamina and maybe to some point your health. You talk to Geel about using magicka and he starts to instruct you on the proper use since he's indebted to you for clearing him of the addiction... oh and you could feel the symptoms of that even though you're not addicted.
 
Idea... Einarr needs a mentor, Perhaps we could work some thing out with your bro. He might need to change a few things in his story but idk maybe it would work.
(edit) I forgot about geel... Perhaps they each could teach me a bit about the diffrent schools of magic, Gemini-restro, geel-dest, new guy- will power
 
that's where I was going with working with Geel.
Geminus could be a mentor, but not as a mage, he's a fighter with extensive training in the healing arts only.
Unless you want to give up the magic and become a warrior.
 
My character seems educated enough to teach, but I think the new guy needs a few changes.

I don't know, but here's my input:

Your character can be someone the falmer enslaved for vengeance (connections to dwemer) or because you went adventuring into their caves (LIKE DERKEETHUS). You were then taken prisoner, tests done to you, etc... Then you escaped / we find you, and then you join us?
 
Ok, my bro is posting his CC/very long backstory in the general CC thread if people wanna take a look.

After reading it (not just having him describe it to me) it seems like it could potentially be different enough to work. (Oh, and he didn't tell me that it was also daedra related XD)

Also, I'm probably biased because he's my bro, but I think it's pretty awesome XD

P&RN (hmm... thinks I'll call him Pern :P ) Welcome aboard! post a link to your character so we and I mean me lazy bastards don't have to hunt for it :P

Geel, the mysticism would still work as it's old world magic and hasn't been seen very much in the this era as the Psijic only have recruited 30 something in the last few years (according to the lore) so, we could use that and go from there. I'd even try to run a NPC of a Psijic Monk that appears and tells him of his magic.
 
Also... any hope of me being able to post again soon? XD I feel so useless to the RP right now :p Guess you guys would need to jump ahead in time or something though for me to be able to :(

I like it! So different and I guess with the "quakes" this timeline has seen the college could have fallen. Interesting prospect. Although one would hope that if the city collapsed and the college stayed, that the quakes wouldn't knock it over either... and it throws a wrench into my plans for Einarr :p
Oh well, I'll just have to take him back to the Imperial City and the Arcane University.

Origin... No... :P
