So what's the best way to fight Vampires?

I often use the firestorm scroll. That seems pretty effective and I bet it would work great on vampires. The main issue, I suppose is that it takes time to activate.

True, although if you throw an atronach between you and the vampires, you can be charging it up as your summon takes some punishment. If you don't know the spell or don't use conjuration, there's the possibility of either looting or buying a Staff of Flame Atronach. :)

I never use any scrolls. They just take way too long to be effective imo.

I see what you mean, but that would only apply to the master-spell scrolls. The other ones function just like using the spell normally.

I'm not sure about time of day, but I find Conjuring stuff to fight them in my stead to be the most helpful. I cringe at the thought of contracting Sanguinare Vampiris, so I like to keep my distance. And my aim with a bow under pressure is poor.

So, Conjuration is my best friend.

Another way of combating Sanguinare Vampiris is by brewing up some potions of cure disease, and drink it whenever you think you have contracted the disease.

I just Fire breath shout them. Or summon 2 dremora lords and let them have at it. But if you mean weapon wise then I would use a high damage fire enchanted dagger (fastest swing speed equals more hits in a short amount of time) Or just use a fire enchanted bow.

I'm a lycanthrope though so I don't have to worry about the nasty sanguine vampiris disease.

Not a bad idea. The antronach takes up a large portion of my Magika (130) to do and I've not been building it up as I don't normally use anything but healing magic. I do know the spell though. That's a great idea. Thanks! :)

Garlic and holywater, duh. If you really wanted to kill 'em for good, get a good jab at them with a stake.

Cute! Don't forget to chop off their heads, fill their mouths with holy wafers and leave them in running water! Staking 'em will only make 'em immobile. Pull out the stake and they're back on their feet in no time.

Forgot to burn them!! Remember, vampires in the Elder scrolls have no chance since anyone can shoot fire out of their hands haha.

I wonder what would happen if you drink the blood potion recovered from Harkon ashes after he is dead. I guess if you drink it, you will get HIV for sure. Freaking Harkon is the one who created that disease .... lol ...

............ well time to go to the temple of devines and get Dante tested....... I knew that was a bad idea...... no wonder the vamps run from me now...
