Spoiler the ending

i loved the quests in skyrim, i have completed almost all the "main quests" (dark brotherhood etc.) so i decided to do the main storyline quest... i honestly expected it to take me more then a few hours to complete and the ending.. wow i was disappointed.

that dragon priest could kill me in 3 hits (im on master as a thief using nightingale armour) but alduin was easy as hell in the final battle, i summoned my spectral assassin and even though alduin was focused on killing him the whole battle my spectral assassin still had 1/4 of his hp afterwards. i only got hit about 3 times from his storm call.

was anyone else disappointed in the ending like me? the questline felt shorter then the mages guild.

I made another character, so I could do the main questline right from the beginning of my adventure. Not as easy. No perks added, used only iron and steel weapons. Crappy armor. It made me take my time more, as I had to be careful about dying. And Alduin was not easy. Well, not to that character. And this was on Adept difficultly.

Now, if I went to my main character, with whom I haven't done the main quests yet...well, I'd probably own everything. I'm like over level 40 on that bitch.

It's all about how you play really. I enjoyed the main questline. Besides, I think Alduin was more bark then bite anyway.

I agree, it almost seems like the main quest was designed to be completed before and of the 'guild' questlines.
