First and foremost I'd like to start off by sharing a couple of funny, but truthful videos regarding to the Pope

Abolish the pope... Yeah that sounds like a great idea.

Same plops; different Pope.. Nothing really is going to change in the catholic church. The same ole hatred is going to continued for as long as people allow themselves to be brainwashed by a bunch of geriatric people in the Vatican city.

Hate might be a strong word. I agree that the Catholic church has major flaws. but you got to believe what you want in the end!

Yes hate is a strong word, and I totally agree with it, but I'm going to give an exception to the Catholic church because they're nothing more than a hateful religion.

It's not only the Catholic Church that is hateful. the same thing with that Muslim brotherhood that doesn't want women to have rights.

I think any religion today doesn't fit anymore. Times have changed, but someone else mentioned this before and I like to repeat it: It's not the religion that is hateful or bad. the people corrupt the religion!

I've always seen every religion as a sort of guideline for life! some people do benefit from believing in God. It makes them feel better, and that's what counts! If you don't agree with a religion, it's good too! but don't judge people for believing what they believe!

Not a big fan of the Catholic church no, but then again, I'm not a big fan of any religion, probably because we are not very religious here in Sweden. People can believe whatever they want to believe and I wont judge as long as they don't try to force their religion on me because I'm not interested

Religion makes good people better and bad people worse. My grandma does volunteer work because she thinks God wants us to take care of each other. And Bin Laden used his religion to commit crimes against humanity and gain power.

The church seems to be about power and money instead of religion.

From what I can remember from History classes. the church had always been about power and money. The church had massive influence back then.

People are always judging on the rotten apples! ofcourse aren't all catholics bad! there is a small group who fluffs it up for the rest!

the same thing with muslims. The muslims I know are the most kind persons I have met in highschool! but because of the things happening in the middle-east people have a bad idea about muslims.

It's the same in England we really arn't that big into relgion anymore which suites me down to the ground.

The people with money are the people with power and the people with power want to make even more money. That is the problem. In the dark ages the church made the citizens pay debts for 'their future mistakes. And even now those priests use their position to abuse people.

There indeed is something wrong with the church. But it doesn't have to do anything with the religion..

There's nothing wrong with being an atheist or something. But making a special 'I hate the Catholic Church' thread crosses the line. It's a bit... wrong... I just don't know.

The problem with religion, and I'm not just talking about the Catholic church here, is that it's so open for interpretation and there is always going to be people who take advantage of that to further their own agenda, and thus greed and power hunger is born.

There is nothing wrong with doubting the catholic ways.. You should always doubt and never believe something because it's written in a book or told to you by someone else. But I also believe you should respect people at all times,

She was very strong in believing! for her there only was one way, and that was the catholic way. as you said, religion makes good people better! and she was a great woman! it's a shame she died when I was young.. She could've made a great difference..

My dad once told me, she got mad at him, because he didn't want to baptize me.

If you find it offensive why did you bother coming to this thread? You knew well of an advance, base on the name of this thread, that this was anti Catholic, and you still persist of coming here. You just offended yourself by willing to click on a thread knowing that you would be offended, not I.
