I'm on my third playthrough and finally decided to actually build one of the houses instead of just fast-traveling through them, and wow. The room connections make zero sense. Why is the alchemy lab connected to the bedroom in Lakeview Manor? Why do you have to walk through the kitchen to get to basically anywhere else?
It's like the devs designed each room in isolation and then just... bolted them together. I get that it's meant to be modular but the result is this confusing maze where your own house feels less navigable than a dungeon. At least dungeons have a logic to their layout.
Are the other two houses any better or is this just a universal Hearthfire problem? I'm considering just not building the rest of it and using it as a storage shed instead, which seems like a waste of the whole DLC.
