Ah. Do you remember the lines? This is seriously killing me. I play skyrim on PC and I've never seen it happen, not once! I'm fully updated on patches and everything else.

It's essentially the same lines as a Dunmer farmer saying that he's out to join the Imperials but switched around.

I've never heard Ulfric say, "Blasted dark elves! I don't suppose you could tell them that I presently have larger concerns such as all of Skyrim" either. But he does.
I have listened to the voice files. There it is. I googled it, and apparently this is not one of those files that does not appear in game. So... there it is. I've never heard it, with over 30 characters or so and 1100 hours of game play (plus gods know how many hours of creation kit fiddling and machinima video recording). But it's there.
But I promise. I have seen the Dunmer farmers.

In fact I have captured it on video and uploaded it to youtube I love Skyrim, but I fluffing hate the glitches and bugs that comes with it.

This is what I love about Skyrim. That each experience of the game can be quite different! Even after 1100 hours!! My god! How did they accomplish that?
The bugs, well. No one likes them.

You all call the Legion thalmor puppets, the Legion isn't being given aid from the Thalmor the stormcloaks are. The Thalmor broke Ulfric and rebuilt him, allowing him to escape and used him as an asset, knowing or unknowing he was a Thalmor asset, seems like a puppet to me.
The Thalmor were trying to stop Ulfric being executed, so he could be used for their plans.
Stormcloaks are more Thalmor puppets than the Legion is.
Ulfric has a habit of getting captured, first from the Thalmor and the Legion at the start of the game.
So when you join the Stormcloaks to fight the Empire, you can thank your Thalmor masters who are pulling your strings to weaken the Legion and gladly accept their aid. Every Thalmor you come across you should be thanking them for helping you fight the Empire, thanking them for trying to keep Ulfric alive.
I'd much rather a High Queen of little experience than a Thalmor made man, he is nothing more than a Thalmor experiment, broken down and remade for their purposes.

Oh and to add to this seems to be mistake of who is joining whom.
The Dunmer farmer is joining the LEGION.
The redguard farmer is joining the STORMCLOAKS.

I looked at the game files with the CK and was surprised to find the only five World Encounter Actors that are farmers you meet on the road (it's always a farmer that is traveling to join either side) are Dunmers, Imperials and Nords. All World Encounter actors have a prefix of "WE" and only five of them are clearly farmers, two of which I think are the Nord couple you see on the roads whose home was destroyed by a dragon and whom you can give money to help them out. Apparently there are no Altmer, Argonian, Bosmer, Breton, Khajiit, Orsimer or Redguards. So much for diversity in the races joining either side.Quite intriguing
That being said Legate Emmanuel Admand is Breton, Legate Sevan Telendas is Dunmer, and Legate Fasendil is Altmer. It seems pretty clear that the intent is to portray the Imperial Legion as more diverse and the Stormcloaks as racially homogeneous.

It's random. The Dunmer farmer can be running either script. I'm not aware of any Redguard farmers and the game files don't appear to support their existence. How did you determine his race because race of the humans can't readily be divined by their physical appearance? I thought Legate Taurinus Duilus was a Redguard due to his dark toned skin but apparently he's just a Colovian with a deep tan.

They all look the same when you're not paying attention, Imperial farmer then. I don't have the ability to open the game files to say what someone is, I just remembered a farmer saying Ulfric had the right of it.

((I love how everyone complains about that island quest for SC. If you don't like it, go Imperial Legion, pawn the armor, and team kill like a champion upon entering the Jagged Crown dungeon. After receiving the crown, take it to Ulfric. I'm sure you don't have to take the oath either, so it was win win for my Khajiit.

Mede does not fight in "the war", the civil war. The one we've been talking about for 320 pages. He's an old man for crying out loud. I am not saying anything remiss in pointing out that, in this regard, he's different from Tullius, who does fight in it.
